Scott Skiles Is A Moron
From the "I Can't Believe He Admitted That Out Loud" department comes this little blurb from yesterday's Daily Southtown:Skiles had some simple advice for Lou Piniella, the new Cubs manager.Someone call up Lovie Smith so we can even this thing out.
"Good luck," said Skiles, who admitted to being a Cubs fan. "Hopefully, he can get them squared away."
Then again Scott Skiles did used to dance with mary jane. This is just another reason to keep your kids off drugs. You don't want them to grow up to be Cubs fans.
At least now I've got a built in excuse if the Bulls fail this season.

You mean you weren't going with the "we traded our franchise center over the summer" excuse?
Skiles, the Cub fan, as opposed to what, a Sox fan. The article made it seem like Skiles is only a Cub fan. It's baseball and he probably roots for both teams, since he works in Chicago. The guy grew up in Indiana and probably is only a casual baseball fan with basketball blood. He probably lives and breathes basketball. I think the article implied that he was specifically a Cub fan, but we don't really know that.
